I don't think it's fair that things are so much harder and less fun if you're a single parent. Even something as simple as a planned day out becomes a massive chore just because there's no partner there to help out. Someone should set up some kind of single parent days out company that gives us support. I bet they could negotiate big discounts on day out as well by providing big groups.
